Wine with Lauren On The Lees

Island, NY and since a young age she knew she wanted to get out and see the world. In her teens she first went to China, then ended up moving to 5 different Asian countries within 10 years to work as a translator, a teacher, model and personal assistant. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. Lauren studied her MBA in Malaysia, and there is where she became very interested in the wine industry. She immersed herself in the various cultures and studied the languages of the places she lived. Upon return to the USA she enrolled in WSET classes and finished her level 3 certification. She also is a certified American Wine Expert under the Napa valley academy, and has certification under Cornell University in Winemaking. Lauren has a passion for tasting, educating, studying, talking and of course teaching others about the world of wine in an approachable manor.

Lauren has a passion especially for underrated wine regions and grapes that are often overlooked.
