Lauren is from Long Island, NY and since a young age she knew she wanted to get out and see the world. In her teens she first went to China, then ended up moving to 5 different Asian countries within 10 years to work as a translator, a teacher, and model. She is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and learns other languages easily. Lauren studied her MBA in Malaysia, and there is where she became very interested in the wine industry. She immersed herself in the various cultures and studied the languages of the places she lived. Lauren has a genuine passion for educating others about wine, making the world of winemaking approachable, fun, and far less intimidating. She believes that wine should be enjoyed and understood by everyone, and she takes joy in sharing her knowledge in an engaging, down-to-earth way. Always curious, Lauren continues to deepen her own understanding—knowing that with wine, there’s always something new to discover. She especially enjoys connecting with fellow wine lovers, finding inspiration in conversations with others who share her enthusiasm.
